Burt’s Bees is a great brand that provides a variety of natural skincare products. I use their face and eye moisturizers and shower gels. Recently, I discovered their Gud product line at Target. I was looking for a hand wash that didn’t have sulfates, parabens and propylene glycol (click here to read more about these harmful ingredients) and was affordable. The products I’ve tried in the past were somewhat costly. The Gud foaming hand wash happen to be on sale at Target and I’ve purchased their shower gels before for my Boo (as seen in this post) so I had an idea of their quality.
I love these hand washes. The scents are amazing but not overpowering. Most all natural products tend to be boring, scent-wise, but not these. And I just love the packaging…so pretty and as their website boasts, can put a smile on your face…certainly does. When I first used the Pearanormal Activity scent, I was skeptical due to the weak foam that came out. But I was pleasantly surprised at its cleaning power. I was putting on make-up and had swatched foundation, concealer and eye shadows on my hand and it all came off with just one washing. Pearanormal Activity smells amazing, very clean but my favorite is Floral Cherrynova which is described as cherry blossom and almond milk. It’s such a girly pretty scent. Vanilla Flame is very nice too…most vanilla scented products are a bit overpowering but not this one.
I definitely recommend the Gud line, especially for your little ones. They are a bit pricey at $5.00 per bottle so be on the look out for sales; I got mine for $3.48 at Target. I think they’re worth it; one bottle which is 8 fl oz lasted me about 3 weeks and most importantly, they are free of parabens, phthalates, and petrochemicals and not tested on animals.
Have you tried any of the Burt’s Bees or Gud products? What other natural products have you tried?
