(L to R) Tumbler/Essie Nail Polishes/Eos duo | Free Tumbler with $5 Donation at Ulta | Eos Lotion/Lip Balm Duo | Essie I Am Strong; Check-up; We’re In It Together | BCA bracelet made by Boo
I recently went to Ulta specifically searching for the Essie Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) 2012 Collection ($8.00 each); I was enamored with the “I Am Strong” and “We’re In It Together” shades that I saw in a magazine. I found them at Ulta + another shade called “Check-up”. I absolutely love these pink shades and of course, Essie is making charitable contributions to “Living Beyond Breast Cancer”, which makes the purchase even more rewarding. I also picked up the Eos Evolution of Smooth lotion and lip balm duo ($5.99); it’s their BCA package with proceeds going to breast cancer research. I love love love the Eos strawberry lip balm; all natural and smells/tastes so good.
At the Ulta check out, I also donated $5 towards breast cancer research which earned me the free pink tumbler (so cute!). You can also donate $10 for a free umbrella or $1 if you’d like. Click here to learn more about how you can donate via Ulta. Ulta has a whole bunch of “shop pink” items to help raise BCA so if you’re already thinking of shopping for beauty products, might as well do it at Ulta and help a very worthy cause. Bellasugar.com also listed their top BCA products for 2012, all of which donate at least 20% of their proceeds towards breast cancer charities.
My 11 year old Boo, who’s been busy lately making friendship bracelets of all sorts, also made me my very own BCA bracelet…isn’t it pretty? I will be very proud to wear it all month and beyond.
Have you seen any other BCA products worthy of the cause? What favorite pink item have you worn lately to show your support of breast cancer awareness?
