Final day of my October Breast Cancer Awareness pink challenge – I did it! Although I started mid-month, it became increasingly challenging to put on something pink everyday especially when all around me are Fall colors. I’m glad I did it though – and as I said when I first started, albeit an insignificant effort compared to the challenges that breast cancer sufferers and survivors endure or have endured, it was dedicated to a dear friend who battled and survived the disease. I had hoped that seeing pink everyday would remind folks that we need to do more to overcome this deadly disease for good.
