Sweatshirts can be hard to incorporate into an outfit, especially if you’re not actually headed to the gym. But nowadays, there are so many tricked out options out there, it can actually be fun to add them to your wardrobe. Over the Labor Day weekend, I snagged two options that I found on sale at American Eagle and Hollister. Although I’m not of the Junior set (I went to these stores with my tween daughter), I thought these were age appropriate enough and had the added little something to make them interesting.
The one from AE with the side zippers has a subtle high/low hem length; I really love it. It was originally $45. I never would’ve bought it at the regular price but now on sale at $30, it was do-able (the AE sale price is still online). The Hollister piece was originally $50 with 40% off, now also $30 (the Hollister sale is over online). This sweatshirt is so darn soft and sparkly…I love it. These stores always have sales/promotions going on so I’m sure these items + more will go on sale again.
Can’t wait to actually wear these blinged out sweatshirts come Fall…in the meantime, I’ve put together some outfit ideas below. How about you? What do you think of sweatshirts? Are they only for the gym or can they be street-worthy?
