Happy Monday! Doing my best to have a positive start to my week, in spite of yucky weather (yet again). Rain and snow combination in our forecast today – really? The only silver lining is that I can get some more use out of my rain boots this season. This Burberry pair was a great find at Nordstrom Rack for $99 (regular price $225). I believe some of their stores still carry them. Some rain boots are not as easy to wear…they can be problematic for those with sweaty feet. I love this one – no problems yet with perspiring tootsies. I love the quint-essential Burberry color/print…such a classic and so versatile. And more importantly, the shaft width is quite roomy – I have big calves so I have to be careful about buying boots. I have room to tuck my skinnies in as you can see from the pics above. I did size up to a 7 (I normally wear a size 6) which worked out very well….typically, I need to size up with pull on boots (no zippers) because of my hefty calves.
Leave it to a pair of shoes to let me look on the bright side of things 😉 Enjoy your week!
