On Sundays we treat ourselves to lunch and a sweet treat; it’s our time to indulge and not beat ourselves up about it. Today, we had lunch at Bonefish Grill in the DTC/Greenwood Village area (they’re finally open for lunch on Sundays!). Before we went to lunch, we stopped at Sugar Bakeshop in Denver; we discovered it on Unique Sweets on the Cooking Channel. It was late, around 1 pm when got there so the choices for the day’s baked goods weren’t as plentiful. My girls got a cupcake each, the hubs got a chocolate/nutella popster (pop tart) and a coffee brownie, while I got the blueberry muffin. Everything was yummy, especially with milk or a cup of coffee.
For my outfit, I felt like bringing out some Spring pastel colors…the weather in Denver today has been glorious. This outfit was inspired by the another Spring motif watch ($15), this one from Charming Charlie’s. I love the creamsicle and rose gold color combo..so girly! The Jackie cardigan from J.Crew was picked up on sale + 30% off in store. This outfit checks off one my fashion rules for sure: it puts a smile on my face and along with family time, it’s been a great day! Hope y’all are enjoying your weekend too!
Love the set. Pretty turq/navy idea. Question….Some have reviewed the TB Lawrence moccasins as running a full size too small. How do yours flt (out of the box) and have they stretched?
@BusyVP thank you! I got the TB mocs at Nordstrom Rack (on sale for $80) about two months ago in a size 6.5. I usually wear a size 6 but this one fit me perfectly in the 6.5. As you know, most of shoes at the Rack have been tried and stretched but it still fit me perfectly. So I would think sizing 1/2 size up would be sufficient given that the leather will still stretch out. Hope this was helpful.
Thanks for the follow up!! Stalking on eBay as we speak!
