It’s been a while since I did a post on my quest for natural beauty/skin care products but I haven’t seen anything new worth trying….until a few weeks ago anyway. My family is a constant fixture at our local Target. I prefer it over Walmart for many reasons…one good reason is their many choices of natural or organic beauty and skin care brands. For the last few weeks now, I’ve been eyeing the Pacifica products in one of their beauty aisle end displays. The packaging is just so girly, it’s irresistible. Finally, over the weekend, after struggling with some dry patches on my face, I decided to try the Radiant Shimmer Coconut Multiples for face, eyes and lips for $12. I love love this product! It comes with three pans of a highlighter, contour/bronzer and blush shades (see last pic below). The product is described as “coconut-infused multi-use creamy colors for cheeks, eyes, lips and body in a magically decorated palette”. The product description is pretty accurate; it’s very creamy and smells amazing. As I said, I have chronic dry patches on my face especially during the winter months. I used the highlighter and blush over my foundation and my face stayed dewy soft all day! That’s actually an amazing feat for my skin. Now I also have oily skin on my T-zone but not so much on my cheek area so I don’t think it’ll be a problem as the weather warms up…but we’ll see.
Of course, one of the main reasons I tried it is that it’s free of the bad stuff: Paraben-Free, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Free, Petroleum-Free, Mineral Oil-Free
All in all, I’m in love with this product. I’ll be going back to try out the Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette. What new natural/organic products have you tried lately?
