I’m a day late with my voting day outfit but nevertheless, here it is. I went with the red/white/blue standby – predictable, yes, but appropriate. The shirt is a snag from Gap; it was $17.99 + additional 30% off in store (see links below in the Polyvore set pics). If you stumble across this shirt, size down – I got it in XS when normally I would wear a small or medium. I love the cherries and the vibrant colors on this print.
I’m glad the elections are over; the ads were getting tiresome. And the amount of junk mail from the candidates…I would think the money can be better served elsewhere. If all the candidates pooled their campaign funds and used the money to help their fellow countrymen, maybe we’d have a better outlook. I know…nice notion but unrealistic. I’m just amazed at the amount of money spent on these campaigns…staggering.
