Hope your week is off to a good start; my girls went back to school today after a 2-week Fall Break (2 weeks for Lulu and 1 week for Boo) so today was a bit chaotic trying to herd them out the door. They were not happy to go back so I reminded them that they were off school again this Friday (teachers conference) and Thanksgiving break was just around the corner. Not too many school days in the month of November I guess.
For my OOTD, I pulled out a stripe true navy/white blazer from Lands’ End that I snagged at Sears last Spring during their clearance sale for less than $20 (original price $79.50). I’m a sucker for stripes and blazers so this was a winning combo. The color is also a true navy – there’s no mistaking it’s navy unlike others that look black from afar. It also has a pink grosgrain ribbon piping in the lining (see pic below) which is a nice surprise. The material is knit and thick; it’s fully lined and super comfy. I was happy to see that it’s back again at Lands’ End so be on the look out for their sale events if you’re interested. I’m also really loving the Sam Edelman Petty booties in taupe from Nordstrom – very versatile; I consider it a great staple during the Fall/Winter seasons. It’s perfect with skinnies and bootcut jeans alike and pretty much goes with any color combo. It’s currently on sale at Nordstrom at their half yearly sale.
Enjoy the rest of your week! And be sure to leave a comment below…thanks!!
