Just a quick post to share my recent fitting room reviews at H&M. Last time I was there (as seen here), I picked up the striped jersey top for $13 which I absolutely love. I actually tried the dotted version but left with the stripe one. This recent trip, I decided to get the dotted version in the white background – which was now priced at $10…woohoo! I picked it up in medium just like the striped version. It runs true to size and the small fits me fine but I wanted a roomier fit. This top is really flattering and perfect with skinnies and tall boots…such a no brainer when picking out what to wear. I also liked the boucle-ish open cardigan which is black speckled with cream throughout but at $35, I decided to pass on it. It actually fits very nicely and goes well with a longer shell as you can see in the photo below. Another item I tried on is the high/low tank with gold buttons – it comes in cream and military green and priced at $10. I also liked this tank but I wanted the cream color in small…alas, they didn’t have my size :(. Lastly, I saw the gray/pink lip print scarf ($10) and would’ve picked it up but I’m not a big fan of infinity scarves…I find them annoying and restrictive.
I also wanted to mention that if you plan on shopping at H&M, pick up their catalog in store – it comes with a 20% off coupon that is good for one item on Friday, November 15th – or use code: 1858 in store or online. I might go back on Friday to pick up a camouflage scarf I saw by the cash register for $7, after I had already paid. Oh well…I’ll use the 20% off coupon if I make it back by Friday. So all in all, very small damage – I actually got 10% off my purchase after providing my email address. Hey…every % off counts..right? That’s it for now.
