Stopped by H&M last week and stumbled upon their BOGO free sale. All sale items were buy one get one free. The sale items were already a great deal without the BOGO free offer…together it was quite a bargain. The floral blue blazer below was originally $50, on sale for $10…with the gray tee embellished with pearls that spell out GIRL at $7 (orig $18), the tee was free (woohoo!). The blazer has a great fit and thick enough for Fall and would also be great for Spring. Blue was everywhere at the spring 2014 runways so this blazer will get a lot of use. The set above is an example of how I would style it with a simple white tank, skinnies and tall boots…easy!
The polka dot henley fits really nice and at $13 is not a bad buy…I actually got it in the striped version instead but I’m tempted to go back for the polka dots. The varsity sweatshirt was also on sale for $10 but I didn’t think I needed another sweatshirt. The short sleeve sweater had an interesting embossed print on the front but a bit overpriced at $25. Lastly, the striped tee with the embellished collar, tiny sparkly stones around the neckline was cute but I passed on it at $18…didn’t think it was worth it.
All in all, loved what I ended up with..the blazer, tee and striped henley. The sale is still going on in store if you happen to be nearby H&M. That’s it for now…enjoy your first week of October!
