I went to Old Navy to take a closer look at these moccasins…I’d been eyeing the Uggs version since last Winter but didn’t want to drop the $100-$150 (depending on where you shop) on a pair of, let’s face it, glorified slippers. But my feet are yearning for some comfort while not forsaking too much style (I’m laughing as I’m typing this sentence). Anyway, to heck with it…I want to be comfortable and have warm toasty feet while gallivanting or working so I picked up the dup from Old Navy for $20 (online they’re priced at $23…strange) in metallic gold. Love the subtlety of the gold making it very versatile. They come in many colors: black, tan, red, burgundy, navy, green, and purple. Its definitely comfortable to walk in and I like that its cushy but also narrow enough that my feet don’t look like boats. The bottom is fairly soled, nothing fancy but it’ll do. Now of course, the material is nowhere near the quality of the Uggs but for $20, it works for me.
All in all, if you don’t mind walking around in mocs and you’d like to give your tootsies a rest from boots and such, I recommend these Old Navy version for a fraction of the Uggs price. Now don’t get me wrong, if I end up liking the ON version a lot, I may still get the Uggs…I’ve been dropping hints with the hubby for Christmas 😉
I adore Thaís ON version! Wow, what I steal, I got check this 🙂
