As I was headed out the door, some cute tees caught my attention at the MNG section of JCPenney’s (see Part 1 of this JCP trip here)…I usually don’t like to go back to the fitting room again after I’ve already tried on a bunch of stuff but I had to do it. Some of the tees run big – I tried the “Fashion Maniac” tee in a small and it was still loose fitting which was fine with me. I spied the “blogger” (print says “Last Night a Blogger Saved my Life”) tee on their website but not available at my store – I’m going to have to order it – it’s just too adorable and appropo for my world lately 😉
The “Hollywood Life” tee I also tried in a small and it still had a loose fitting look – and it actually worked.
I really like the mixed fabric chiffon blouse; tried it in large which was a good fit…it runs small. I love the sweatshirt V on the neckline…it’s a contrast to the luxe look of the top…very Theory-esque.
The button down knit inset shirts have been done by other brands (Old Navy, Gap, etc.) which of course is a dup to the James Perse version. I actually liked the MNG version only because they have the colors I’ve been covetting (light pink and navy) in the James Perse brand but not willing to spend the beau coup bucks on. Even at Nordstrom Rack, they run about $60 each. I tried the pink one in a small and because of the knit insets that are stretchy, it fit like a glove.
I actually didn’t try the other tops you see in the Polyvore set above – I saw them in the JPC website for such a great deal that I’m seriously considering ordering them this weekend. Anyway – if you’re doing any shopping soon, check these out at your local JCP store. Enjoy your weekend!!
