Forever 21…if the store’s name is in reference to one’s age, then I’m far too old to be shopping there. Perhaps it’s the notion that we can feel 21 again if we don’t spend too much on clothes that aren’t necessarily wardrobe investments. Anyway, whatever the case maybe, F21 can be a nice harmless destination for some retail therapy. I know the quality is not always there and you have to spend literally hours and hours scouring through all the Junior-like stuff but once in a while you can score a nice find. Here are some items I found at my recent visit.
Studded starfish dress – so cute even with its polyester material and overstyled stud detail $25
Striped cardigan – love this…reminds me of this Madewell version without the elbow heart patch $25
Chambray popover – this will be nice with white jeans and J.Crew Capri leather thong sandals $18
Sequined anchor tee – this is actually from the kids section (LOL)…I tried it on in an XL and except for the shoulders, it actually fit nicely but I passed on it – not sure I can stand the bunching up around the shoulders…really cute though! $12
