Finally…some decent Spring weather and it’s about to get better. Although we reached 50 degF today, it was quite cold this morning so I opted for more wintery colors (see OOTD below). OK…it was just an excuse to wear my Banana Republic leopard print smoking flats. I love these shoes! I have other similar cheaper flats from Target and Kohl’s that work fine but they don’t have the same quality as the BR version. I wanted to buy it when it first came out but didn’t want to shell out $120….then, wait for it…lo and behold, I stopped at BR to check out the new Mad Men collection and saw this pair in the clearance shoe shelf at $70 + 40% off – it was the only pair left and yes…it was my size (6). It’s like kismet. Don’t you just love when that happens? It’s better than triple scoops of Baskin Robbins Jamoca ice cream and if you know me, I love love love Jamoca flavored ice cream. Anyway…back to the shoes…the size 6 seemed at little snug at first and the toe box was pinching me a bit but after only wearing it one time, it was broken in and now it feels so comfy! It’s no longer available online at BR but you might still find it in store in which case you’ll be able to try it on to see if it’s true to size for you. I listed some similar options below that can still be had.
