I’ve always been a huge fan of Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft; AT for office or formal attire and ATL for more casual looks. Lately, Loft has just been on point with weekend casual, business casual, business, and athleisure wear. So much so that I’ve frequented their stores and website too many times in the past few weeks. And of course, with their many sales and clearances, Loft has been hard to resist. The value for your money is just unbeatable.
Their latest 50% off entire purchase sale + the Loft Cares Card (90% of which goes to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital) for which you get an additional 20% off purchases over $100 (25% off with Loft credit card), yielded some very nice spring/summer stuff. Also, you get an additional 50% off items that are already on sale…can’t beat that. Click here to view the sale on their website.
Here are a few items I picked up from the sale; can I just say, I am obsessed with the Diamond Print Riviera Shorts in 4″ inseam – so comfy and the print/embroidery…stunning especially if you have tanned legs, which clearly I don’t have (yet). The color of the tribal embroidery is so pretty…love love love it!!
The linen/chambray blazer was in their sale section; I got it in 2P which fits perfectly…love the dotted lining too. This will be perfect for those hot summer days when the AC kicks into high gear at the office.
This girl loves button downs and popover shirts, especially in stripes and even better in chambray or linen in the summer time. I am so loving this pink striped seersucker relaxed shirt…love the thin material and ease of it. Makes me want to get up early and go to the flea market or farmers market with my basket bag.
Then there’s this triangle print sheer sweater; it fits and hangs so nicely. I don’t have a flat tummy and I have to be careful with sweaters that, shall we say, are unforgiving. This sweater seems like it would be an apathetic piece but it’s flattering and easy. It also comes in solid colors. By the way, the blush pink espadrilles (photo doesn’t do it justice) is from Forever 21 and only $12 (I couldn’t find it on their website, sorry).
Lastly, every other summer, I pick up a new white cardigan in a lightweight material. In the past, I’ve gone to J.Crew, Gap or Old Navy and of course Loft. I’ve had one from the Gap Outlet for a few years now and it’s time to replace it…as with most white clothing items, they do get dingy over time. This textural cotton cardigan (which comes in many colors) is perfect..exactly what I was looking for.
All these items are still available online and in stores…not sure when the sale is over though but I’m sure there’ll be another one after this. Hope you found this post helpful for adding a few items to your spring/summer wardrobe. That’s it for now!
