Happy Tuesday! Or is it? I always feel a little bummed after a Holiday break when I have to go back to work. Not only do these festivities seem to zoom by at lightning speed, going back to work is a bit depressing. But I shouldn’t be so ungrateful, especially after Thanksgiving when so many more others are not as lucky. At least I have a job to gripe about so I better just hush up. I do feel a little sad after visiting family members have left; my girls were especially sad…they already miss their aunt and uncle but we’re thankful for the precious time with friends and family. Although I’m grateful for the family get-togethers, I’m not grateful for the extra pounds I may have put on with all the yummy food around these days. I need to put a plan together to work out more…after the Holidays (hehe).
Yesterday was uncharacteristically gloomy for Colorado even during Winter; today was much better…sunny and not as cold so I decided to wear my bright yellow sweatshirt from Old Navy, purchased last Spring. Love layering this with a stripe tee that peeks out at the neckline and hip area. Top off with a navy blazer (mine is actually from Banana Republic from 3 years ago) and my French hen scarf from J.Crew…perfect casual attire.
This week is crazy busy for me at work…lots of projects about to finish which I’m extremely happy about. Hope your week is just as productive!
