I almost forgot to post my OOTD for day 14 of my pink challenge; I’ve actually already changed out of them before I took an IRL (in real life) photo. I took a shower after cleaning the house so I’ll be posting a different outfit later when I get back from running another quick errand. I have to return something at Gap. I bought the lace-up booties you see below about a week ago at the regular price of $79.95 (yikes!). I saw it online here but it was sold out so when I found it at our local mall, I grabbed it immediately thinking it was going to sell out fast in stores as well. I tried it on in a size 6 and it seemed to fit fine. When I got home and tried it on again, it was pinching my feet around the front area; I think a 6.5 would’ve been better but alas, they don’t come in half sizes. So back to the store they go. Too bad..but at $80 I might as well get the J.Crew Factory suede lace-up wedge boots which is what I really wanted anyway.
Today’s outfit is just a simple stripe navy/pink shirt from Banana Republic and skinny jeans with booties. My necklace is actually from Nordstrom’s…a Christmas gift from hubby about 10 years ago…it’s one of my favorites; it has three leaves representing my hubby, and two daughters.
K…I’m off to the Gap and I might stop by Target to take a closer look at the 15-piece elf nail polish collection too if nothing else tempts me at Gap. TTFN!
