I’m trying to wear dresses or skirts more often these days, before the warmer months are over and my pasty white legs are never to be seen again until Spring. I typically wear jeans, pants or shorts but I really want to pull out more dresses and skirts from my closet. Take for example this one from Loft purchased in May for a business trip I took to Kentucky (by way of Nashville); I bought it specifically to wear in the humid climate of the South but I actually never even packed it. I hesitated to keep it and thought I would return it when I got back from my trip. But here we are in August and I still have the dress and I’m so glad I kept it. It’s a really lovely pale shade of blue with the eyelet or cut-outs against a nude lining, so pretty and summery.
Paired with the Kate Spade Brighton Park Sloan bag and nude pumps from Nine West…all good! And of course, my favored necklace this summer from New York and Company went with the outfit so well. By the way, the Nine West nude pointy pumps are so so comfy…they’re a recent find from TJMaxx for $30.
