Happy Monday! I haven’t had a chance to blog for a couple of days…too busy getting ready for house guests. Thank goodness I’m off today and tomorrow, working Wednesday morning, then off again Thursday and Friday (woohoo!). My brother and his wife made their yearly trip from LA to our neck of the woods for Thanksgiving. My girls get sooo excited to see their aunt and uncle – they even made a banner to welcome them. In cleaning and organizing our home, I realized that I need to make a list of projects that I’ve putting off for a while now. I’ll need to sit down, make the list, prioritize, then start whittling away at it. It may take me months but it needs to be done. I’ll share the list and how I’m doing in the coming weeks.
For today’s outfit, which is almost always dictated by the weather and my mood, I decided to wear my white Old Navy Rock Star skinny jeans again. I felt so encouraged and inspired by the last time I wore these jeans that I decided to wear it again, this time with my camel boots and navy gingham shirt and vest. Did a lot of running around today and I was very comfy in my outfit. Picked up my bro and his wife from DIA, had lunch at Elway’s Cherry Creek (I had the prime rib sandwich and my hubby had the lobster roll…yum!!), then picked up the girls from school, ran to Target to pick up fresh Thyme for tonight’s dinner (scallops with fettucine in lemon cream sauce), and now doing a quick post on my blog before I start dinner. Whew! I’m tired listing off what I’ve done so far today…but always happy to have family around for the holidays.
The rest of the week will be just as hectic but will take time here and there to live in the moment. These days go by so fast that sometimes it’s almost a blur when it’s all said and done. Hope you enjoy your week and time with family and friends!
